I’m AbdulMohsen Alfares, born and raised in Kuwait. My journey with art began in 2004. Since then, I’ve been exploring different forms of artistic expression from painting and design to discovering new ways to manifest my thoughts and emotions. Art has always felt natural to me; a part of who I am, a gift I’ve carried since childhood.
I was fortunate to grow up in an environment that was rich with art enthusiasts and multi-displinary artists, from carpenters, sculptors, calligraphers, to painters. Early exposure to different forms of art expression was an immense asset to my talent.
I believe that every pencil line or brushstroke is like a quiet conversation between me and the paper or canvas. It’s my way of expressing feelings and thoughts without needing to say a single word. The colors, textures, and shapes I use help me create a world that feels personal to me, but others can still relate to it in their own way. From the first sketch to the final details, there’s a special joy in bringing an idea to life. Art has a certain magic; every time I create something, I discover a little more about myself. Through my art, I like to share little pieces of my life and experience.
As the years passed, I started to notice how much I was improving in this field. I felt like I was in the right place, doing something that truly fits me. My dreams slowly started turning into goals I could see and work toward. I became determined to become someone who could support others and make a positive impact on myself and others through what I love.
Growing as an artist means always being open to experimenting with new mediums and techniques, so I can be ready for any challenge I face while exploring the possibilities of my creativity.
